# Strata War

> Strata War is a real-time strategy game for StarCraft and RTS fans, free to play in your browser with no ads. Six factions, five story campaigns (the first two free), skirmish against the computer, online play and a map editor.

Strata War is a free-to-play, independent real-time strategy (RTS) game in the tradition of StarCraft and StarCraft II, with no ads. It has six factions, five story campaigns, tutorials, skirmish against the computer, online matches for two to eight players and a built-in map, mission and campaign editor. The Kiln and Verdance campaigns, the tutorials, skirmish, online games for up to four players and the editor are free; the Full Game (bought once) or Premium Access (a monthly subscription) opens the Wayfare, Chord and Lumen campaigns, hosting online games for five to eight players, and publishing maps for everyone to play. It runs in modern web browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS with no download, and after a first visit skirmish, replays and the editor work offline. It is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
